18 Jul Swiss City Marathon

For all people who are enthusiastic about running, there is one date that you should definitely make a note of: The SwissCityMarathon – Lucerne, the most beautiful marathon and half marathon in Switzerland, takes place every year on the last Sunday in October!

The breathtaking route leads along the scenic Lake Lucerne around the Horwer peninsula and takes you through important places such as the football stadium and the KKL Luzern, the impressive old town of Lucerne and the Swiss Museum of Transport. If you decide to do the marathon, you can even expect to traverse this unique route twice.

Throughout the run, you will be cheered on by over 30 music formations and thousands of enthusiastic spectators along the route.
