The sunbathing lawn is only separated from the sandy beach by a short walk and extends at the same height. Within the Lido area there are also many other quiet places where you can relax. If the water temperatures in the lake are still a bit too cool for swimming, there is a heated swimming pool available. Experience the fascinating shipping on Lake Lucerne and discover 38 kilometers of sea routes, 34 ship stations and a breathtaking landscape. The five restored paddle steamers Uri, Unterwalden, Schiller, Gallia and Stadt Luzern are true treasures of shipping history. They were built between 1901 and 1928 and together form the largest fleet of paddle steamers on an inland lake in the world. Thanks to hourly boat connections, you can get to Flüelen or Alpnachstad, for example, or take part in one of the round trips. In addition, you can expect special trips such as the fondue ship, the cake trip, Valentine’s, music or breakfast trips.
